Creating Your First Invoice
Learn how to create and send a professional invoice in under two minutes.
Steps

Click "New Invoice"
From the dashboard, click the New Invoice button or navigate to Sales > Invoices and click Create.

Select a customer
Choose an existing customer from the dropdown, or click Create new to add one on the fly.

Add line items
Enter a description, quantity, and unit price for each item. The totals update automatically.

Review the invoice
Check the invoice number, date, due date, and totals. Adjust the tax rate if needed.

Save or send
Click Save as draft to review later, or Finalize to lock the invoice. You can then download the PDF or share it via the secure portal.
Tips
- Use the Quick Actions widget on the dashboard for the fastest access.
- You can duplicate an existing invoice to save time on recurring items.
- The invoice number is generated automatically based on your numbering settings.
